ABOUT BIOMEphysio
Your brain, body, & life are connected
The BIOMEphysio approach brings together physiotherapy, functional movement, exercise therapy and somatic approaches to support individual physical health and wellbeing. It recognises that movement is influenced by more than physical capacity. Our experiences, environment, energy, sensory preferences and everyday circumstances all shape how we move.
The approach combines a variety of therapeutic approaches. This includes physical therapies that focus on movement, physical function, symptom relief, and recovery, and somatic therapies that explore physical sensations, body awareness, tension, stress responses, and how you experience your body.
Built on four principles
At BIOMEphysio, you can explore movement to discover what works for your body, integrate movement into your everyday life, and understand your personal movement needs. It does this through four foundational principles:
Evidence-informed
All decisions are guided by physiotherapy expertise, current research, and the best available evidence.
Neuro-inclusive
Respectful practice that values and includes neurodiversity—all ways of thinking and being are valid and worthy of support.
Whole-person care
You are at the centre of the service, with your needs, experiences, and goals shaping every aspect of care.
Flexible and results-focused
An adaptable service tailored to your unique needs and preferences, focused on the goals that are most important and meaningful to you.

Physiotherapist, researcher, & 'mover'
Welcome to BIOMEphysio. Thank you for being here!
Movement has always been an important part of how I understand and experience the world. It has provided a way to connect with my body, process experiences and regulate my energy. Throughout my career, I have explored different approaches to movement, from physiotherapy and functional training to yoga and other physical practices. Following my own ADHD diagnosis, I became increasingly interested in the different ways people experience movement and physical activity.
I established BIOMEphysio to bring together my professional experience, research interests and personal understanding of movement, creating an approach that recognises individual differences and helps people find movement that works for them.
My career journey includes:
- PhD in Public Health
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Master of Public Health
- Training in functional movement, hypopressives, acupressure and stress management
